I'm blonde, and I teach yoga on the Western Slope.
Yoga for the mind, soul, and body
I love teaching yoga in picturesque locations that are perfect for Instagram. My goal is to serve the Western Slope by offering memorable yoga experiences. I believe that practicing yoga together can create a sense of community. That's why I offer classes at local businesses. By joining my classes, you can connect with other strong women in the community and have a unique yoga experience.

ABOUT
Why Yoga?
Yoga has been a powerful tool for me in addressing the pent up energy in my body resulting from childhood trauma. Specifically, yin yoga has been effective in helping me to release this energy. This practice involves holding poses for extended periods of time, which helps to calm the mind and allow for introspection. Through this process, I have been able to sit with my emotions and begin healing from the inside out. I have found that vinyasa yoga is another effective way to move energy through my body in a safe and engaging way. As a teacher, I use vinyasa flows to help others become more in tune with themselves, their bodies, and the world around them.
BLONDIE
Who is Blondie?
My name is Tara Alexis, and I am a registered 200-hour yoga teacher specialized in Vinyasa and Hatha. I originally hail from the Front Range region and have extensively traveled around Utah before finally settling down in Grand Junction. During a vacation with my friends in Palisade, I had an epiphany that I should move to Palisade and start my own yoga business. Although I had practiced yoga before, my previous work experience was in government and law. However, I followed my heart and started my yoga business in February 2023. It is the support and encouragement of my clients that motivates me to keep showing up, day after day.
